  1. Saturday November 21, 2009 come and join us as we reach for a God-sized goal of collecting 10,000 cans of food for the local homeless shelters. We will set up tables at the local grocery stores and following the morning and afternoon activites that night, Saturday November 21, a concert. The kids who particpiate get "First In" at the Grits concert

  2. Incredible Night of Worship for Youth by Youth on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 7:30 pm at the Genxaret. 

    Plans are being made to have this night of worshp be led by as many youth as possible including youth praise bands, youth drama teams, and youth dance teams.  If this is something in which you would like your youth to be involved, please contact me so that we may add you to our line-up.
     
    We encourage you to pray about this opportunity to enable youth from different churches, different cultures, and different styles of music to come together and praise our Lord.
     
    We are scheduling a can food collection earlier in the day from 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM.

    Proceeds from that collection will go to local food banks, the Rt.1 Homeless Day Center or an organization of choice of the participants. If you are unable to attend the night of worship, but would like to be part of the food drive, please let us know. For more info contact Sandy Colea.

  3. Friday November 6 Powerhouse with music by Beckoning the Moment, Risen, and Autostrada. 

    Doors open at 7:30pm. $3 at the door or $2 with
    a donation to Operation Christmas Child.

    Items to donate include new small toys, school supplies, toiletries, hard candy.  No war related items and no liquids.  For more info on Operation Christmas Child and suggested donations check out Samaritan's Purse

    We are presenting this evening to help the region's youth ministires, churches and para-church organizations discover some of the latest ways to connect, explore new ideas and stay on top of all the events available for your members.

    Doors will open at 6:00pm for a time of networking, fellowship & fun (fooseball, air hockey, pool, etc.)
    Buffet Dinner will begin at 7:00pm with some short presentations starting at 7:30pm.
    We WILL be done no later than 8:30pm! But you will be able to hang out longer if you wish.

    40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life campaign with a vision to access God’s power through prayer, fasting, and peaceful vigil to end abortion in America.The mission of the campaign is to bring together the body of Christ in a spirit of unity during a focused 40 day campaign of prayer, fasting, and peaceful activism, with the purpose of repentance, to seek God’s favor to turn hearts and minds from a culture of death to a culture of life, thus bringing an end to abortion in America. 
     
    We will have speakers, bands (Proof Of Love), fun, and fellowship.

    You heard right!  Grab your best Michael Jackson gear and get ready to demonstrate your best Michael Jackson moves as we dance the night away to the most popular MJ hits.  Proceeds from the door will go directly to benefit local area teen drug rehab organizations.  Doors open at 7pm.  Cost is $3.00.

    Xpressions - 7:00 to 10:00 PM
    If you express your self through song, poetry, music or even painting we invite you to join us in this "open mic" setting at the GenX.  In true coffee house, open mic night style, we invite you to take the stage and share your gifts with others.  Easels and paints will also be a highlight of the night for those of you with a flair for painted art.  The featured ministry that evening is the First Fruits Farm.  Proceeds from the door will go directly to support the work at the farm.  Doors open at 7pm.  $3.00.

    Our Fall Kick-off will be a special Night of Worship.  Two bands and a speaker will be featured on this night of prayer and praise as we pray for the upcoming school year, the work at the GenX and our country. Tickets are free at the door. Contact Sandy Colea for more information.

    1. Saturday August 22nd, 2009

      A Day of Harvest at the farm to benefit the Rt. 1 Day Center and a celebration cook-out at the GenX to follow. Meet at the farm at 9:00am and work until 1:00 or 2:00 pm . Return tothe GenX at 4:00pm for celebration and cookout. Groups are responsible for getting to and from the farm.
